My Teaching Philosophy

As a teacher, my goal is to foster and encourage creative confidence in my students so that understanding, creating and appreciating art will remain a source of joy for them. I do this by differentiating my lessons to meet their needs and creating positive learning experiences to keep them engaged. 

My approach to teaching involves creating a supportive and safe environment for students to experiment and take risks, ultimately helping them to gain the skills they need to navigate the 21st century. I draw inspiration from my own creative practice, and I try to instill that same passion and drive in every student I teach.
